Academic Structure

New pedagogical and curricular structure of school education (5+3+3+4) 3 years in pre- school and 12 years in school.

  • Foundational stage (5 years) multilevel and play/activity-based learning. 
  • Preparatory Stage (3 years) play, discovery, activity-based and interactive classroom learning.
  • Middle Stage (3 years) experiential learning in the Sciences, Mathematics, Arts and Social Sciences. 
  • Secondary stage (4 years) multidisciplinary study, greater critical thinking, flexibility and student choice of subjects.
Foundational Level
Grade Nursery to 2
We at GMAK follow Panchaadi-A five step-learning process suggested by NCF for foundational years.
Preparatory Level
Grades 3 to 5
Preparatory level in accordance with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) involves a student-centric approach.
Middle Level
Grade 6 to 8

Beyond The Classroom

GEMS Modern Academy to offers enriching experiences and extra-curricular activities run by our dedicated teaching staff or local community experts. Extra-curricular activities build students’ aspirations and provide them with the foundations and transferable skills to make new friends and, most importantly, have fun.

Art & Design Studio

According to a study for Project Zero at Harvard University, “A quality art education program can develop the capacity to think creatively and the capacity to make connections.” Through art education, we help our students develop creativity, encourage creative expression and cultivate an open mind.

Dance, Music & Drama

We provide opportunities where children demonstrate originality and inventiveness in the field of performing arts. This is done taking into account age-appropriateness. Children analyse and appreciate the nuances of various genres, and styles of maestros.
